| |  Janis, a grandmother of four, has had an interest in writing since childhood. For seven years she wrote feature stories and a weekly column for her hometown newspaper. For 26 years she was the city clerk for a nearby city. In between she volunteered to write the annual all-church Christmas play. These were always humorous, always set in Bethlehem, always a rendition of a fallen society--and its rescue by the coming Savior. More recently the plays were twice rewritten, first for local performances by an all-senior cast, secondly so that published copies could be shared with other amateur church and theatrical organizations.Plays published by Christian Publishers are: Downloading Christmas, The Gatekeeper and Dueling Christmas. | |
