Synopsis
Everybody loves the eighties – and show biz! Mix in a mystery, and you're all set. It's a true comedy of errors for the cast and crew when the script they're ready to shoot goes missing. Writer Jackson Browning's computer phobia means no saved copy. Chaos reigns among the eccentric Browning and his throwback flower child wife, clueless valley girl actress Nelly, plus the conceited leading man, the big-shot director and the cheesy security guard. There's schmoozing, brainstorming, a hasty rewrite, and then – who shot Nelly? Pop references from "totally tubular" to Milli Vanilli keep the evening as spiced up as the accompanying Mexican food – like Trivial Pursuit Eighties Edition dramatized! Amid the silliness, some substance: "Unless you become as little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." Meaningful, memorable, and oh-so-fun!
