Synopsis
It’s London circa 1844 and Christmas is in the air -- but Charles Dickens’ holiday is horrible. The newspaper prints a disparaging article about his selfish wealth-hoarding ways in the face of charitable needs. Scrooge visits and urges Dickens to contact Huppense, the newspaper’s editor. Though Dickens reasons with him, Huppense refuses to print a retraction. Dickens wallows in self-pity. Then a chance meeting with children shines a light on his dark despair! His reputation is fleeting, but God’s love is eternal. The tasty meal, lively music, and recognizable characters make this evening festive and fun!
