They’ll miss his holy presence in heaven, and Chuck frets about his interactions with humans on earth. He notes several who preceded Jesus that had a tough time: Adam and Eve. Abraham. Moses. David. Then, since “angels are warriors, not worriers,” they equip Jesus with every spiritual gift for his life on earth. Angels approach the ethereal throne room with a flickering light symbolizing their gift as a short description of it is read. Knowledge, encouragement, giving, teaching, mercy, prophecy, healing, faith and ten more gifts are given. The grand finale features a lit star of Bethlehem slowly rising as God’s voice intones, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased” (Mt. 3:17).
