All the broad character types are included: The stuffy maitre d' with the fake accent, the snooty rich woman, the sugary-sweet sisters, the slightly batty old mayor, the mysterious stranger. Someone did a number of good deeds for the town residents—anonymously. Whodunit? Only quantum physics is harder to figure out.
