SCRIPT PREVIEW
Synopsis
If the Last Supper took place in today's society, would Jesus choose foot-washing as an act of humble servitude? Because we don't travel down dusty roads in sandals, perhaps he would wash the hands of his disciples instead. This script tells you how to conduct a congregational hand-washing service. After a light meal is shared by the congregation, four disciples converse while cleaning up the dishes. They inquire about the other disciples and learn that they couldn't be there due to contemporary church commitments. This leads to bickering about issues of responsibility and fairness. Their petty argument is silenced when Jesus enters and washes their hands, demonstrating that he came not to be served, but to serve.
