| SCRIPT PREVIEW | | Synopsis | Some of our most cherished holiday traditions can cause us the most anxiety. In this humorous nod to Dr. You-Know-Who, a series of Grinch-like "Grouches" facetiously extol the "virtues" of holiday excess. Each Grouch delivers a short tongue-in-cheek monologue on one of the trappings of Christmas: gifts, decorations, parties, memories, cards, baking and gift-wrapping. Then comes the worst one of all: the Grouch of Christmas's True Meaning, who only attacks believers. Just as the Whos got their Christmas back by joining hands and singing, the congregation joins hands and sings "Silent Night" so the Grouches will go away. Try it—it works! | | Related Titles: | | Advent comedy on pre-Christmas stress A hilarious detective spoof for Christmas An Adventure in Missing the Point A Christmas spoof of the TV show Dragnet |
