SCRIPT PREVIEW   PRODUCTIONS
Synopsis
The corporate world’s worst nightmare, Ebenezer Scrooge, is the micromanaging CEO of his own accounting firm—a miser who makes life unbearable for his employees and family. Bah! Then he’s visited by reggae singer Marley, the ghost of Scrooge's long-dead Rastafarian roommate, who warns Scrooge of impending supernatural encounters with the Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future. The past is at a disco in the '70s, where young Scrooge’s girlfriend realizes he loves money more than her. The present depicts the Crachit family and their disabled son Tiny Tim, who needs more medical treatments than his Scrooge-employed dad can provide on his lousy benefits. The future predicts his own demise, as well as Tiny Tim’s. Scrooge is shocked but gets a second chance. He undergoes a spiritual makeover and finally recognizes what's at the heart of Christmas. Loads of humor, including a recurring gag with a Salvation Army bell ringer and the million-dollar question: Just what is a humbug, anyway?
