SCRIPT PREVIEW
Synopsis
Rehearsing couldn’t be easier with only two young girls as the recurring characters in these Advent sketches – especially when sisters or friends play the parts. Each week Carly and slightly clueless Ann engage in spirited dialogue on one aspect of Advent while waiting at the bus stop. The themes and sketch synopses are: 1. Hope – Ann uses objects from sunglasses to a baseball glove as she waits for the Baby. 2. Peace – Carly reminds Ann that we can’t just wait for peace, we need to take action. 3. Joy – Ann learns that joy goes deeper than just a good time at a party. 4. Love – Ann has her sights set on romance, but Carly reminds her that God’s gift of love was Jesus. Includes a bonus script that may be used the week after Christmas to reiterate that Jesus is alive and at work in our world even after the holiday is over.
