SCRIPT PREVIEW
Synopsis
Strange things are about to happen as Joe Thursday and his sidekick Frank Cannon walk the beat in Bethlehem one winter night. There's a census in town, and everyone is on edge. Suddenly, a celestial disturbance prompts the officers to investigate. They start with the shepherds. Why would they leave their flocks? The angels that visited them—was their real goal to make off with a leg of lamb? More interrogations follow when they track down the Innkeeper's wife and the three kings in an attempt to get "just the facts." The road leads them to the holy family. They help Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus escape to Egypt just ahead of "Dirty Harry" (Herod) and his hit squad. Many funny one-liners. A comprehensive picture of the Christmas story emerges amid the laughs. Especially suitable for youth group performances. Great entertainment fun for your church family.
