Synopsis
What fun you'll have with this play-within-a-play! It's opening night of the cheesiest play ever, a romance set in the 1940s. Everyone thinks it stinks, but one thing is clear: The show must go on. The aging starlet, the young prima donna, the veteran Broadway actor and the rest of the cast "break a leg." Shockingly, an actress playing the nun disappears! Then another and another! Now you see them, now you don't. When cast members come up missing, it's time to call Detective Smith. During the intermission, the detective stops by each table to solicit help from the dinner guests in an effort to solve the mystery. Each character has a motive and an alibi. Let the mind games begin! It's all here ... mystery and humor, a spititual angle and even a little romance. The ending speaks volumes when the culprit is revealed, along with thoughts about grace and forgiveness. A fun evening for all.
