| | SCRIPT PREVIEW | | | Synopsis | | This witty yet wise children’s play takes the common experience of returning Christmas gifts and turns it into a reminder of God’s love. It’s December 26th and employee Pat works her store’s returns counter. Among the dissatisfied customers is a director who tries to return her choir because it’s not Christmas anymore and she doesn't need them – but Pat points out that the choir can sing Easter songs too. Another customer tries to return joy – but when Pat urges him to open the box, he decides to keep it. Though returns are down, Pat says, "People should always have a song in their heart and keep the joy of Christmas all year long." The children’s choir sings only a few lines of most songs, so rehearsals aren’t overly time-consuming.
