Archangel Saraphiel interrupts the angels’ softball game for an emergency meeting to discuss an “intervention in the human world.” He rolls out the master plan of Christ’s birth (with PowerPoint projected images). The angels receive specific assignments to be fulfilled in accordance with prophecy: arranging the census so Mary and Joseph will be in Bethlehem when the baby is due, setting up donkey transportation and parking, hanging the star, and making sure every room at the Squeeze You Inn is full. Features a split scene with Mary and Joseph where clever dialog volleys back and forth, as well as futile attempts to get Herod to “knock-knock” it off.
