| | SCRIPT PREVIEW | | | Synopsis | One man, two responses – from the adulation of Jesus’ Triumphal Entry to the condemnation of his Crucifixion. First “Hosanna!” and days later, “Crucify!” This presentation opens with a reading of the Gospel lesson, which segues into a discussion between the Narrator and two members of the crowd. Though they witnessed the same events in the days leading up to the Crucifixion, their perceptions differ. If Christ is the same “yesterday, today and forever,” then humanity is fickle! A fresh take on these familiar passages. Includes instructions for making crosses out of palm branches which are used in the performance. An easily presented readers play with uses for Pam Sunday, Maundy Thursday or Good Friday services.
